Sweet Child of Vine: The Bear Who Brought a Guitar Into the Jungle

A bear standing on two legs, guitar in his paws, singing up at the canopy like the whole jungle bought tickets: the design is one warm yellow ink and a pun that swings. Vines, leaves and music notes share the branches, and the little singer owns every one of them.

It is a gentle parody of the big rock-ballad moment, shrunk to storybook size — the power stance, the heartfelt chorus, the hair. Drawn for VITROLA STUDIO’s music shelf, it speaks to guitar people, bear people, and anyone who has ever sung a slow song way too seriously in the shower.

The animal band is growing: meet the other four-legged headliner in Top Dog on the Rocking Block.
