Alligator’s Bayou Groove: Sunglasses, a Guitar and a Swamp That Swings

Bandana tied, sunglasses on, guitar worn like a family heirloom: this alligator did not crawl out of the bayou to be background music. The lettering promises a groove, and the grin — all teeth, all confidence — backs it up. Even his tail keeps time.

The design channels swamp rhythm the way the studio loves it: a slow, rolling beat you can almost hear through the green ink, part blues bar, part cartoon Saturday morning. It is drawn for people whose playlists drift south — to riverbanks, porch swings and songs that take their time.

Every groove needs a low end: Bass Player Cartoon Art holds it down on the same shelf.
